Azure and RackForms

RackForms supports connecting to Azure database hosts on Window-based servers that have the sql_srv extension installed.

RackForms also supports connecting to Azure SQL Server databses on Linux when the proper driver is installed.

Connecting to an Azure-hosted MySQL or PostgrSQL database requires no special setup on Linux.

Connecting To An Azure Datasource

To connect to an Azure datasource in RackForms, create an Azure database in the Azure portal, noting its host name as we'll need that in RackForms. In RackForms then, enter the hostname value in the RackForms database item's DN Host Name field.

Enter the database user name and password as normal, and then build and test the form.
